Since starting both this blog and Tik Tok I’ve created several original characters that are beginning to take on their own personalities, so I thought it would be fun to introduce them today. A while back there was a Tik Tok trend where creators made characters in this Mafia AU (or alternate universe) and interacted with each other to create collaborative storylines surrounding those characters and the world they lived in. Since then, multiple other AU storylines have popped up and I am currently taking part in 3 of them. Ava the E-Girl

Ava is currently my most well known original character that I have created and the only one to have her own social media. Unlike the other characters that were created for specific interactive tags on Tik Tok, Ava was created as a social experiment to see how much internet clout I could get by pretending to be an e-girl. Ava is a 25 year old social media influencer who lives in LA; she enjoys spending her time streaming video games on Twitch, participating in influencer meetups, and drinking Komucha while editing her content. She face-tunes all her Instagram photos and wears low cut shirts on her Twitch stream because she knows it will get her more views but vehemently denies it when asked, stating that she didn’t even think about it when she got dressed. Despite coming across as an airhead, she knows exactly what she is doing and is very intentional about everything she does in the public eye.

Turquoise

Turquoise is a part of a Birthstone AU that was started about a month ago on Tik Tok. The idea is that one individual born in each month is chosen as a representative to become a human version of that month’s birthstone; since my birthday is in December, I chose turquoise. Turquoise is a withdrawn and pessimistic individual, she doesn’t really like the fact that she was forced into interactions with the other birthstones and doesn’t really want to be a representative shown to the world.

She is also kind of a bitch, but that’s mostly due to the fact that her birthday is often grouped together with Christmas, so she’s often forgotten about. It’s possible that this is what has created her pessimistic, glass half empty mentality over the years. She hasn’t had many interactions with the other birthstones but the individual she’s had the most contact with is Diamond, played by @elissakathryn (shown in the center picture). Turquoise gets a lot of her joy from antagonizing Diamond since she’s an easy target and gets flustered easily.

Dia, Daughter of Dionysus

Dia is from the Children of the Gods AU, the alternate universe where the sons and daughters of the gods are awakening and gaining traits and memories of their parents. Dia is the oldest of the children who are awakening and has been acting as an older sister/parental figure for the other siblings. Often found drinking wine, she also has inherited her father’s partying tendencies as well as his liaise fare attitude. She will often walk around without clothing, flirting with anyone who takes an interest as she is violently pansexual, and enjoying the finer things in life.

On the flip side of things, since she is the oldest, nobody really bothers to ask her how she’s been handling the transition and as a result she internalizes a lot of her struggles coping, poorly, with booze and one night stands. Taking on the role of caretaker helps her keep it together though since she has the mom gene override; the uncanny ability to stop freaking out about her problems when someone else needs support.

Thus far, Dia has interacted with @summoningsam as the son of Apollo and @persephonixx as the son of Persephone.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius is a part of the Zodiac Wars AU, a universe where the zodiac signs battle it out among themselves for first place just for fun. Sagittarius is the concentrated physical manifestation of all the traits Sagittarians on earth exhibit, both positive and negative. As a fire sign she is extremely volatile and feels every emotion very strongly; she has an insatiable lust for life and a restless need for the thrill of the chase. Blatantly independent and honest she can often come across as aggressive and brutal but she cares deeply and is furiously loyal when you get to know her. That being said, she is very impatient, wanting the thrill of adventure immediately when the urge hits her, causing her to be impulsive and careless. She is very proud of her independence and the things that she has accomplished causing her to be very boastful.
