On December 2nd, 2019 I started seriously working on and posting my cosplay content on Tik Tok. I’d always wanted to do cosplays but I’d never had the nerve to get started; afterall there were so many talented cosplayers out there already and I was so new. I was also worried that I was going to be terrible and end up on a cringe compilation, but the first week in December I just bit the bullet and decided to start posting.
Since then I’ve posted over 200 videos, received well over 6,000 likes, and last night while I was asleep I hit an important milestone! I hit 1000 followers! Hitting 1000 followers on Tik Tok means that you get to start live streaming and start gaining the tools of other influencers on the app. I never thought I’d make it this far in such a short period of time but I am so happy that I just got over myself and started posting.
I’ve become a part of such an inclusive and supportive community, made friends with some genuinely wonderful people, and had a chance to start improving upon my cosplays. I am really excited to continue improving upon the characters I already have and creating more that I can share! The past couple months have been such exciting learning experiences for me, chances for improvement, and filled to the brim with exciting new opportunities. I thought it would be fun to show some side by side improvements of the same characters that I’ve made over the past month as well as share what my 2020 cosplans are!

This year I’m excited to say that I will also be creating and cosplaying Bakugou’s hero uniform, Shizuma Hanazono from Strawberry Panic, and Omiko Hakodate from Kill la Kill.
