Yes, it is I. I have returned from my unintentional, week-long vacation. It’s been about three months since I started “My Unsolicited Opinion” and about a week ago I officially hit a point of burnout. It wasn’t so much an active decision to take a break as it was more a “depression napping induced lack of writing”.

Despite producing content for almost exactly three months now, I still didn’t quite understand that I was going to have to take breaks. Something about doing something that you enjoy sort of circumvents the need to take breaks in your mind. So it sort of snuck up on me last week, but instead of feeling bad about taking that break and letting myself keep running on fumes, I embraced the off time and resolved to start again this week.

So, here I am! Back from the radio silence on the blog with some exciting news about the growth of my content!

Aside from the first month where I got a staggering 600 views to the blog, the views we are averaging right now are around 300 monthly. In the next couple months I’d really like to see that number go up to 600 monthly to see if we can double the number of views. On top of that, I’m excited to announce that in addition to “My Unsolicited Opinion”, I will also be writing for an online mobile gaming review magazine called “Hardcore Droid”, so you will be able to see my content on other platforms as well.

I’ve also been posting on Pinterest with links to articles on the blog and surprisingly, the Pinterest is averaging about 3,000 views a month. Of course the saves and link clicks are significantly lower at about 5-7, but over the next couple months I’d like to work on increasing the number of link clicks so we can try to drive more traffic to the blog itself.

My Tik Tok account has also grown significantly in the past few months with 1,282 followers as of today and 9,670 likes overall. I’d really like to hit 2,500 followers by the end of March on my journey to see a “K” behind my follower count! Additionally, I should be hitting 10K likes here soon, so keep an eye out for that announcement!

Another goal that I have for the next couple months is to increase my Patreon presence. In the next week I will be revamping the tiers included on my account and start actively promoting it more. The last major announcement that I have for this post is that I’m starting to stream on Twitch. It’s primarily gaming but if we get enough interest in the channel, I might branch out based on demand.
